The Catholic Calendar, as used by the Catholic church and some other Christian faiths, is equal to the Gregorian calendar since its inception in 1582 and equal to the Julian calendar before that and from ca. the AD epoch. For dating events in the Old Testament, the contemporary Jewish calendar would be appropriate which is one of the Hebrew, Babylonian and Egyptian calendars. The calendar also includes the liturgical calendar, the Roman Rite, which has been reformed several times by the popes.
