This article is a graphical table designed to compare the World Calendar and the Gregorian calendar, which it proposes to replace.

Differencies and similarities Edit

The World Calendar has quarters of the years completely the same. They are combined of 31 days lasting first month, which begins on Sunday, and 30 days lasting second and third month. Gregorian calender has no quarters, and also months are irregulary sorted by length, namely ordinary succession system is demolished by 28 days lasting February and August, which follows July of the same lasting.

The World calendar has unmoveable names of the days on some date, while by Gregorian calendar every day falls on the other date each year. Most percievable difference is the Worldsday, which is as the last day of the year by World Calendar not included within none month. The Leapyear day has similar usage by both calendars. It occurs every four years (on leap year). The only difference is that by Gregorian calendar the Leapyear day is inluded within February and it is also suitable numbered - February 29, and by the World Calendar it is included within June, but it stays independet and unnumbered.

Days as they are numbered agreeing by both calendars from September 1 to February 29, with an exception of the last day in the year (Worldsday / December 31). The other months occur either 1 or two days later in the World Calendar as shown next:

Month Common Year Leap Year
March 2 days late 1 day late
April 1 day late agree up to 30th
May 2 days late 1 day late
June 1 day late agree
July 1 day late 1 day late
August 1 day late 1 day late

A more detailed table is shown below.

Legend of table Edit

The table shows both calendars in a customary, non-leap year. In the leap year of the World Calendar after June 30, Leapyear day is added; therefore the ordinal position of every day that follows June 30 must be increased by 1 day. So, Leapyear day is the 183rd day of the year and July 1 is the 184th day of the year. In the Gregorian calendar we add this day as February 29, which becomes the 60th day of the year and March 1 therefore the 61st day of the year. The World Calendar has months that are beginners of quarters (January, April, July, October) marked red.
